Behind the Scenes
Burr Fong, D.O., is an ABEM Board Certified Emergency Room Physician licensed in DC, VA and MD. He obtained his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University School of Osteopathic Medicine and is a magna cum laude graduate from Amherst College. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2018 and also served as Academic Chief Resident. Dr. Fong is an active practicing Emergency Room Attending in the DC Metro area.
Dr. Fong reviews the content of Med Ed In Motion productions for medical accuracy. He’s an avid learner and is passionate about medical education.
Maria Jose Rendon, Ph.D., is a licensed Psychologist serving the DC Metro area. She is a Smith College alumna and received her doctorate degree at the University of Miami School of Education.
Dr. Rendon is the Director of Creative Content and coordinates animation development and video production. She is passionate about ensuring appropriate adaptation of materials for Spanish speaking populations.
